Hi all, I have just bought a `96 1.1 Saxo sx-needed as a cheap runaround-the car is in perfect working order-it has a full service history!-the only trouble I am having is with the immobilizer keypad,I cannot change the code ,I have followed the instructions in the handbook explicitly but with no joy.It just reverts to the original code ,has anyone else come across this problem?thanks for any help..........Damian
p.s
It has an old style front grill can this be easily replaced with a newer or custom style one? thanks

mine does that it was set to standard 0000 i changed it to another and 2 codes worked, but if you used the 0000 it would stay at it again so i just set it back to a diffrent code hoping it would go away and it just makes a funny beep noise every time you switch of the ignition, but you can do away with the thing if you set the code you already have so the light goes green unplug it and take it out of the car, and you should be able to turn on and of the engine with no need to plug in the code again thats what i heard anyway.
