They're doing some awesome deals atm...
£36 pm
Unlimited calls
Unlimited Texts
1GB data
£99 for a Iphone 5 16GB///
2 years ago I entered a contract with Orange and for 35PM on any network you'd struggle for get an Iphone 4 16GB! So ended up with a BB Torch, selling it and buying an Iphone 4 in white outright when it came out.
Going for it within the next 2 weeks. My friends getting me 30% staff discount aswell bringing my bill down to £25 or so.
Goodbye Orange.
What's peoples opinions on the o2 deals, I have noticed you only get 1GB data, and Orange are offering more which kind of makes me think the 5 is going to be sourcing higher data than say a 4?

id personally hang on a month or 2 so initial price of the phone goes down. When ive taken out a contract in the past, ive never had to fork out any amount up front for a phone (no intention to start either) and always had decent contracts with vodafone.
Iphone 5 isnt going to disappear overnight so i dont understand the massive rush from people to get one.

My contract with orange is up for renewal and I want to leave the contract and it's a good time to get an Iphone 5 in the process:y:

That would be good but I'm getting a 30% discount for my mate being staff and I've had bad experiences with T-Mobile in the past.
Thanks for sharing it though :)

Seriously, a boy in work has an Iphone 5 and its a complete waste of money if you have a 4 or 4s already.

Even with people raving about them, I can't help but think the same.

Well, at the end of the day as I said, my contract is up for renewal and I don't wish to stay with Orange.
It might not be much of an upgrade as far as technology offers but it is an upgrade over my Iphone 4.:y:
I don't want an android phone at the end of the day. I do not care about what these S1232123's have to offer, I've had a play and sure they are far from shit but they feel so cheap compared.
I want the iPhone, I want a solid quality product that offers a cool user experience that will retain some resale value.
I'm not even a apple fan boy, I just want a overall quality product. I'd rather miss out on a few things for an overall better quality experience.
Just to clarify it's IMO,
PS are these phones cheaper than an Iphone?

Why not get a sim only contract then and save the dosh, some really good deals on them as you have a tidy phone as it is.

o2 don't support 4G... Not until the expected upgrade on the potential iphone 5S next year, or they buy the space from the government auction.
Neither are certain.

I'm giving the gf the 4 lol
I mean for £25 bob a month, unlimited calls & Texts is bang on for me, I get next to no minutes on my current panther or whatever it is with orange.
Way I see it is I save over £5 a month & get unlimted minutes and give the g/f an iphone for the £99 the handset costs me.
Could even give her the 5 for xmas and keep the 4 hmm lol
Thanks for the recommendation though :)

Tbh I'm not fussed by this, I use my iphone for data stuff predominately at home, probably use around 750 mb max. I don't stream any videos or anything hardcore outside the house.
I'd have thought o2 would be bang on this though lol
