Hi seemed to of lost a litle bit of engine coolant wheni chacked it (about 3 months ago) it was about half way between min and max line. Checked it this morning and it just above the min line so ive lost abit? why could that be? Also its very brown and muck foating around in it (not oil) so gasket isnt leaking.
So was wondering is it safe to top up with tap water asi dnt have any coolant/distilled water, but am getting it flushed and chaged on monday?

You never know here in England lol. Shouldn't freeze though if I still have some old antifreez in? I just wasn't sure If tap water is okay

You'll be fine but if its rusty and manky, get it changed asap. You dont want that stuff in there and get a nice strong mix in for winter

imo just flush it through and put new in + antifreeze

Fill with vodka win win vodka doesn't freeze. On the downside its bloody expensive.
