For the price of a barbour Jacket you could buy a nice Jack Wolfskin jacket, or even Berghaus or Northface. (I'm not chav, I actually use these jackets for what their made for... bad weather and fucking exploring.)

I've got a green jacket with that kind of cross hatch pattern on it. Wouldn't call it Barbour but it does the job.
