My front passenger footwell in my 2002 Desire has recently started to get wet in rainy weather. I'm not loosing any engine coolant. I can also feel wetness under the glove box. Where are the usual suspects for water entry please? I can't see any obvious faults with window seals etc. Thanks

Check under the car or carpet.
I had water on my passengers side floor, the plastic plugs under the carpet had dropped out & the water was getting in that way.

In a old VTR I had the previous owner had drilled a hole in the bulk head to run a power cable to the boot for his amp but hadn't put a grommet in the hole and on my current VTS my sun roof was leaking and running down the N/S wind screen pillar (I diagnosed this by getting some tissue/paper towel and jammed it between the plastic trim and the pillar if the tissue gets wet when it rains then its the sunroof that's leaking providing you have a sunroof!)

windscreen seal, door seal, rubber bungs under the car, through sunroof, through aerial, sunroof drains blocked
