Sim Card Activation

Just recieved my phone and sim card in the post for a new contract I have taken out with orange through dialaphone...

Does anybody have any rough timescales of how long it takes for the sim to activate once it has been put in the phone? Or do I need to do something?

Up to 24 hours usually, if not by then.. Then call up

Turn it on and off a few times, sometimes helps

they are owned by phones4u... I didn't either but they had a mint contract offer online only so I went for it!!

as said 24hours but soon as i recieved mine and turned phone on it was ready to go
