Central Locking Problem

Hi,

I've got a problem with my central looking on my VTR.

I put the key in the drivers side door, turn it, it locks and then unlocks straight after.

I have taken the door card off and can't really see any problems. I have also had my door pins removed and it doesn't look like the Ross are catching on anything.

It will look every now and again and also locks but a few 30 seconds later it will unlock.

Any ideas?

maybe a dodgy central locking motor or a loose connection to it, had this on my vts...found out it was a loose connection

I have checked the cable that goes to the central locking and it seems firmly in place. :/

Notice when I have the front lights on and all doors shut it makes a beeping noise reminding me to turn the lights off and goes off when turn key in ignition.

Is this normal, or does it thing that one of the doors is open
