I went to have my wheels tracked a few days ago, and afterwards they said that I've got to take it back in a few days and leave the car with them, when the trackings "settled in" so they can make more adjustments. Is there actually any reason for them to need the car back at all, as I'm a bit suspicious that they just want me to leave the car there so they can take it for a bit of a test drive
Cheers :y:

Take it back and wait around for it to get done or wait down the road to see if they do take it out

My tracking was so bad the garage asked me to pop it back in to re-check the tracking once it had settled, but then I sold the car so didn't bother :)

Did you end up taking it back to them 'once your tracking had settled'?

If car is on its last legs maybe there is a lot of wear in the suspension and they have attempted to allow for it in the track setting ,so want it back to see if still at the setting they made?
highly unlikely they want to drive your car --its not a super car as previously said just go back and wait while they check it

Lol no I didn't go back in the end, I was going to go to try to catch them out but couldn't be arsed with the hassle in the end
And the cars only done 71k, coilovers are pretty much new so are the track rod ends, so the car has plenty of life in it tbh, it's the fact that they told me to leave the keys with them which put me off tbh, and the fact some places will want to take out anything with a bit of poke in
