Central locking

Ok so i manually opened my car with the key to test the alarm and afterwards my central locking went mental and locked me in the car! It unlocked then locked again straight away. When I got out I manually opened the door with the key again and it seems to have reset it. Is this the best way to solve it? I'm at work today so I don't want it to do the opposite and stay open all day on a car park!

It's happened again!! There's a red wire loosely connected to the battery which I thought was connected to the alarm, and that's the only thing I've messed with! Any ideas?
