Hi i have 60mm springs atm but i feel it isnt low enough for my liking, i know coilovers say they can achieve 70mm lower or even 80mm but i would like to go around 90mm just low enough so the driveshaft doesnt rub off the coolant pipe. Does anyone know if coilovers will be able to go that and if so how do you do it and is it safe?

its possible
you'd need custom springs made up
you'll need to cut back the chassis a bit to clear the wishbones
relocate the power steering lines, a fuel line and bonnet catch away from the steering arms
and relocate the brake lines away from the arb.
also, any lower than 90mm and you'll need to consider smaller wheels/tyres
regarding safety, you hit alot of things on the road, and theres always risk of actually getting stuck on a kurb/pothole (which has happened twice now to me  )
also advised to drive a bit carefully as the springs become loose when weight is fully off the ground due to them being so small, unless you run helper springs

i took the front arb off rather than relocate things
cars that low dont handle anyway so the arb isnt as needed

i really should get rid of the arb tbh as it isnt doing anything but constantly rest on the chassis lol

Or will i have to get something more pricey like gaz coilovers?

no, keep away from the cheap vmax/gmax/ta technix/raceland coilovers
you get all sorts of problems with them
gaz are probably the cheapest decent option for coilovers

Nope those kits are the cheapest which won't lower more than 60mm and they give a solid horrible ride literally bone shaking lol. I have spax shocks and springs and I'm just as low as my friend who has these cheap coilovers wound all the way down and I still have a decent ride quality. Get the gaz kit with a custom spring of a size you want Imo 2.5 or 3.0 inch give the best derivable drop
