Crimpers. (http://www.tooltrolley.co.uk/hand-tools-84/pliers-croppers-4344/pliers-wire-stripping-crimping-7158/gedore-8101-crimping-self-grip-wrench-75566.html)
These are mine they handle everything thrown at them.

But the solder on battery terminals are better than the crimp on ones look neater and can take more stick.

basically I'm putting my battery in the back, so I need terminals all over the shop as there's a killswitch in the mix now too.

i recently fitted my kill switch and had to fit 6 terminals and used solder. all the solder is down in tha cap bit so its no more rigid than crimping really + looks neater

I'd crimp them. But it's part of my job.

Also, the main large cables won't be crimped by one of them small hand crimpers.
We've got a nice set of hydraulic crimpers in work that'll put some beautiful looking lugs on that size cable. Been done for someone who was building a kit car. The crimpers are several hundred quid each though.

Is that an offer?

as MrP said, best bet is to get someone with the proper kit to sort the ends for you once you have sorted the lengths and type of fixings you need, it wont cost you much at all and will make for a reliable component.

If you sort cable length and what crimps you want, I'm sure I could help out if you have nobody local.
