mk2 vts none start after gearbox change..

Hi there alll, well ive currently just took the grar box out and replaced with brand new clutch and a reconditioned box. The problem im now having is the car turns over but doesnt seem to wanna start. what could this be caused by??

have you pressed the fuel cut off switch (red button in the engine bay near the fusebox)

yes sure have mate. there is fuel getting to the engine.. could this be my immobliser ?

or wouldnt the immobilissr stop the fuel getting to the engine??

not sure on the mobiliser, but are all the earth connected on the gearbox? one of my earths was left off on mine and the engine wouldn't start.

Crank sensor plugged in?

You might have a fair point there mate. it was starting fine before i dropped the box.. thanks ill go give it a go, fingures crossed. haaa

Ckeck the fusees to the fuel pump

Check the earths are all connected on the gearbox & too clean metal.
