Just had my gearbox and a new clutch put in the other day (VTS box in a VTR) and I still have my rubbing/squealing noise coming from the car, that stops when I turn left.

I had the entire car checked over and nothing is wrong with it! CV bearings and driveshafts all fine, brakes fine etc. And I now know its not the box or clutch.

Please, I need everyone possible to help me on this!

Ideas and thoughts please! Could someone make a list of what I could check?

My thoughs are now wheel bearings, tracking, bent wishbones etc.

Thanks very much in advance.

Have you tried kicking it ?

Most technical answer i have heard on here  lol

"its probly your bushs on the bottom arm need replacing i had it on my vtr, its a bit of an awkward process but easily done if u got a haynes manual, take it too a garage and ask them to check for any play in them my local tyre place duz the check for free, then you will know if its them or not, also duz it feel like the front wheels kick back or anythin when you put ya foot down thats another sign, if it aint this then it could be the struts a bit loose my mate had that on his"

Maybe..?

It does feel like its straining abit when its squealing. But did yours stop when you turned in a certain direction???

And yes, I have booted my car several times!
