hello chaps
just got the saxo back on the road for winter and over 40mph the steering goes very lite and the car seems to veer off in either direction . any ideas what it could be ? i replaced both shocks in the summer and had a new front tyre fitted .

i also have a problem with my central locking , the battery is flat on my locking fob but now the key wont turn the drivers door to open or lock it so i have to open via the passenger side and lock that way too.

does any one know where i could get a thermostat and complete housing to as i broke mine last year and have just bodged it up for now with not stat

when was the tracking last done?

Central locking - will need to pull of the interior door trim and take a look at the lock. Probably the actuator arm from the lock has come off. Easy fix most likely. If the lock works when used remotely (via fob when you have batteries in) it's this.

Thermostat & housing from either "for sale" section here (you need more posts or premium membership to view) or ebay.

Yes it's likely to be that. Could be knackered shocks or something, but tracking is cheapest - often free for just a check :)
