I have the RAC cover that covers myself not my car, so does that mean if I was in my brothers car I could have that recovered..

his throttle cable just snapped, and he now needs to get his car to a garage, but not sure on how it works,

I see there was a post about recovery before (different circumstances) but was some decent replies..

Just go and meet him, and say its your car, they have no way of checking that it isn't anyway.. But even if you are a passenger, they will recover it..

It doesn't matter if you have the one that's covers you.

I got a friends written off VTR recovered home by saying I was a passenger, even though I was sat in my car at the time.

bodge it, assuming it's a saxo, when my snapped i was able to crudely reattach it, lasted a couple of days until i got a replacement. probably would have lasted longer

nah its a clio 172, but he just found a guide to replacing himself, and he seems to think he will be able to do it..
