Billed as "this years Matrix", and the usual bumf. I think not. Was an ok film, time travel themed number. Ultimately the film isnt a headfuck as much as a time travel film could be - and some reviews would lead you to believe - but ends up faulted by its own paradox.

Kind of plods along at a leisurely pace, theres very little action if thats what you're expecting. Actually, reflecting on it as Im writing this, Im growing more disappointed the more I think about it.

Dont rush to see it. Random recommendation? The Town. That was a more enjoyable film.

Emily Blunts in it, which is a plus as she'd get beefed.

I thought it was a pretty good film :geek:
Not heard good things about "Taken 2" though.

Billed as "this years Matrix",

How many times I seen this one, and "better than matrix". Whenever there is a "[insert comparison with movie that has acquired cult status here]", it usually is shite. Smells like a rebranded reboot of script leftovers from Jumper.

The kid looks a lot like Heath Ledger

I thought it was a great film, not matrix level though (they went downhill though)

I dont even understand why they didnt kill the guys in the future, and just send the body back. Ah right, because there wouldnt be a story. Spoiler white text alert -> I mean if they shot his wife in the future even though it was "so hard to dispose of a body due to biotagging" and shit, but then they torched his house, why not just shoot him and burn the two of them in the house?

Lol, the director of the film expects that some people are going to see it twice at the cinema. Once to see it and once with the director's commentary in your ipod: http://soundcloud.com/rcjohnso/looper-theatrical-commentary
