Suspension Kits

Had a search but just looking for a more specific reply.

Basically was looking at purchasing a suspension kit for my furio. However just wondered whats the best option to go for.

I have had a look at the Spax VSX kit which lowers by 40mm. But i was in two minds whether to go for the kit or just the springs on their own.

The Kit is £150 and the Springs are £50.

Just basically wondering what noticeable differences there will be between having the two. Will it affect handling/comfiness of the ride?

I'd get the kit as handling will be much improved but Spax tend to give quite a harsh ride, thats just the pro's and cons of lowering though.

Yea thats understandable.

I mean if i was to have just the springs, would i need to looking at replacing them every year or so?

The springs would last for few years but if your current shockers have covered a fair few miles they might not last as long but I suppose its a good opportunity to uprate them.

yea true.

i mean i was going to get the kit anyway, its just being a student gives me a low budget.

the car's on 51 plate and has cover 24k miles, but i think im going to go for the full kit.
