I was just wondering of I had any bulbs missing or weather all saxo's were dark as hell at night? I have lighting where the heater gauge is but not on the actual knob?? Is this right? Anyone done any custom ambient lighting or similar? I just feel like I'm sat in pitch black at night I'm used to being well illuminated from my bmw, I don't want any chavvy neon colours just something subtle, anyone shed any light (excuse the pun) cheers

lucky that the light behind the heaters works, common to pop and a pain to replace (console out jobby) so often just get left!
Ideally though you want it darker inside the car, as you're concentrating on the road :P
you can, by pressing the rightmost button in newer saxos, dim/brighten the dash lights. think theres 15 stages?

There isn't a bulb behind the knob, just a bunch o wires iirc. There is a bulb (not sure what type) directly behind the adjusters for your heating, as above centre console out but that's only 3 screws I think
