Since the age of probably 15 - 16, When my Interest in cars started i remember following the progress Willsys Saxo and im sure you will all agree, it was an inspiration to manny! And for the newer members some history of R661 JRP,

It started off life as a Open Scandal 1998 Special Edition Model

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v260/Willsy86/Saxo/a1-1.jpg

The reason its a special eddition ?

Like most cars between 2004 and 2006, Some good things where added ( full vt kit ) , some not so good...

None the less, its Still a great car, The lads who bought the shell off willsy have done a great job of converting the rear beam engine ecu and full wiring loom from a 2003 vtr , its running 306 gti brakes fully polly bushed solid engine mounts big 3 earthing kit and drives really nice to alot of newer saxos iv owned.

Few bad things i want to sort out Theres a issue with the dials and they keep turning off. The exhaust ( cherry bomb muff diver) is a bit LOUD. the bodywork could do with some attention, full detail and some paint, For peice of mind im going to rip the dash out and have a look at the wiring and replace the alarm ( also the sunroof hasnt been wired in )

But im hoping to shed a new transformation on this car! keep it living

:drink:

Jack under wheel as my bargain halfords huge jack jacks the hole car up about 3 foot front the front jacking point so to be on the safe side whacked the windey jack under the tyer lol

With your history of cars, I give this a month before it's either written, sold or simply ruined!

W343NNA
14th October 2012, 00:40
With your history of cars, I give this a month before it's either written, sold or simply ruined!

wise words from you jay correct me if im wrong but did you not shaft your saxo nose first into a wall or a lampost or somthing then bodge it back together? why do you always act like a bellend towards me never done you wrong.. never wrote a car off myself iv had one car crashed into the back of me and i leant amate w343nna and it wa destroyed. not by my self. my mango vts was a shed sold it and kept all the good parts other than that iv still first furio moth balled in my garage a mango mk2 on 43k.. and my westcoasts still on my drive again another tidy mango on low milage and tastfull mods wich is up for sale..

But if you wish me to sink to your leval and compare car history

I belive this was your first car correct me if im wrong i do appologise , Wich you overpaid £1290 for back in 2010, then sold on after you had crashed AND ruind for £650

http://img525.imageshack.us/img525/9687/saxo1.jpg

( sticker bombed your rear view mirror and broke your screen )

http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g439/L1QuiD/e293bd0f.jpg

Then you crashed into the back of a iceland van..

I take back my comment about crashing into a wall or lampost

http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g439/L1QuiD/f2bddfb1.jpg

Then since then youv bought a golf that everybodys seen, Wich isnt to bad the wheels are marmite but its your tast and the paintjob on them is impressive and look far better than silver,

But other than that you constantly act like a cock towards me and feel you have the right to tell me i "ruin" cars

So lets start..

My first car 2000 saxo furio paid £220 for it off machachinos mate nathan,

http://gp1.pinkbike.org/p4pb5529485/p4pb5529485.jpg

After the year i owned it it went through a few changes

http://gp1.pinkbike.org/p4pb5677414/p4pb5677414.jpg

http://sphotos-g.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/546872_4654809326484_217994280_n.jpg

http://sphotos-f.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/247321_4654807686443_920547872_n.jpg

Then i had it up for sale changed a few things to sell it on

http://gp1.pinkbike.org/p4pb6420742/p4pb6420742.jpg

Then driving to riply, Ironicaly to exchange keys on a swap for a fiesta zetec s i was crashed into the back of by a carless driver
http://gp1.pinkbike.org/p4pb6445226/p4pb6445226.jpg

So then absolutly skint and a destroyed car i had to go out and find a new car wich i stumbled across a mango on ebay wich needed work, but was cheap low milage taxed and motd, so i made one good car from the two
http://sphotos-f.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc6/227131_2042714585748_4832742_n.jpg

It may look "ruined" now, but thats another story as its a long term project, and judging from most the finished results of my cars, i dont doubt myself on finishing it.. But the mangos another story so now its sat in my garage awaiting time effort for the remaining bodywork and then respray
http://sphotos-b.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-prn1/426194_3439318779980_382182423_n.jpg

I garaged the mango and decided to use it as a project car because i bought a 106 gti didnt really do much to it as i was happy with how i bought it

http://sphotos-g.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/395652_3130033528042_1026841956_n.jpg

Then i bought W343nna, Measly £400

http://sphotos-b.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/417052_3471124095093_298511896_n.jpg

Had a deadline of a month for fast show to get it looking how i had in mind

finished it the day before
Already posted the best picture i have of it but heres a entrance pic from fast show

http://sphotos-e.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/560357_3551824312548_1548924941_n.jpg

I then kept this for a couple of months then karls mango came up for sale and i wanted it so i bought it and leant w343nna a freind and through no fault of his this happend
http://sphotos-h.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc6/p206x206/246489_4023948755364_707047537_n.jpg

So the mango baught it like this..
http://sphotos-b.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/150783_3913625117342_207547755_n.jpg

Transformed it into this kept a few parts and sold it,

http://sphotos-c.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/303391_3993085103792_600618860_n.jpg

when i sold the vts i was going to buy a focus, But then a westy came along To keep me going for a few months, its now for sale
http://sphotos-e.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/548179_4276582551051_1377902190_n.jpg

Since the photo iv changed the wing mirrors to standard

blackie_2k5
14th October 2012, 00:44

How can you keep buying Saxos? The 106 and mango vts were tidy, why not keep one of those rather than selling to buy something worse? Upgrade when you change cars, buy something else!

Good luck with the newest addition in any case.

Got home from work about 6, parked on drive, had my tea went back in car to pick misses up about 6.20 - 6.30 instantly saw this white shit lookign at me ( the sealent ) thought wtf... It had been pulled up and cracked the corners and then chucked on pavment... ( my assumption is, thicko pulling up at spoiler broke it then thought fuck that dont want a broke spoiler )

So yeah a little anoyed, will have to get a new one painted up when i have my morretes painted same colour as the car

Quick one, i was all up for doing this car like my photoshop display picture, how ever im thinking it looks really fresh on white wheels colour coded ?

Opinions ?

Fuckers! Took me 2 weeks of tweaking to get that Spoiler fitted. The underside skin was removed and the edges trimmed and built back up to match the Saxo boot lid perfectly. Definitely not as easy as stick it on, job done.

Almost a shame they didn't fit it to their car as you'd know straight away no one else had done it

I could tell from looking at it that it had had some work done! if i recall correct the chap i bought the car off said the back window was smashed and he had to remove the spoiler to have a new glass fitted, wich is also a shame a every other window is original and has the reg etched on :(

Ill sort it at some point! i quite like the look of it behind with no spoiler though!

Im suprised about the rust tbh

Me too especially if its that bad. The arches were all cleaned out fully and painted, hoped it would have protected it better. How many miles has the shell done now?

willsy
12th May 2013, 16:47
Engine bay looks a bit neglected aswel :-( the inner arches were nice gloss back. Does it look like a result of poor care taken when putting the car back together by the last owner causing scratches that have rusted? Front arch sides look like its been offroad as they were all cleaned out when the wings were off at the respray time.

i dont want to nock the lads who put the car back together as they were realy frrindly and helped me alot storing the car for a few months / saving it till i had all the money but everything seems to have been bodged its having a full interior and engine loom as therr both bodged / a mess and ill take photos of the rust it looked fine then you could peel the paint back and it was rotten undernieth sadly :/ the front seems better than the back no idea on the milage of the shell as the clocks say 84k and there mk2 digital vtr clocks the electric roof no longer works either dont worry willsy! its in good hands and i have some epic plans! ill be using the wiring loom interior and engine out of my 206 due to the engine thats going in plus will be cool to have the mpg counter out of the 206 lol

Absolutly If i can acheive what i have photoshopped, ( not going to show incase guys with big pockets come along and do it faster than me / steel my ideas ) I have a saxo mango at the back of my garage, wich is a bare shell at the minuet and was going to be this years project, Iv had it since i was 16, But after buying yours iv had some mad ideas and cant keep myself away from it, I plan on working on it after work in the week going to remove all the interior wiring loom from this and do some tip runs with all the shit i no longer need!, Its been thrashed to be fair aswell, the bonnet front bumper and front wings have bad stone chips, So some paint is on the agenda to!, current plan of action is,

Remove the bodykit so i can send that to my mate to store / prep for paint and then paint ready for when iv finished the engine conversion,

Plate and smooth the engine bay, rust treat plate / strengthen the rear arches / boot floor and patches of rust on the underside, then find a really good underseal to do the whole car, Paint the bay yellow and rear arches, buy some solid engine mounts, mount the engine, Rebuild a 1.1 gearbox new bearings make it spot on!, fit the 206 interior loom and fit correct plugs from the saxo loom, electric window motors, etc etc so it all works, Shorten the engine loom / tidy it up ( after a minimal smooth bay ) Iv bought some morretes so they can go with the bodykit for paint, sort out the door hinges and check straps as there realy stiff / creaky, Buy some mk2 struts so i can rebuild them and paint etc, Not sure what shocks to go for, I want to get a fresh set of pollybushes for all round iv bought new wishbones ball joints drop links top mounts already, Get some new drive shafts also got a 106 gti twin fan setup, Cant decide on what exhaust to go for as iv got a nice outwardly rolled powerflow on it now, but its not stainles nor is it shiny so find somthing simular, Iv got a piper 4 into 1 8 valve manifold that iv bought a flange so that i can have it fit my new engine, need to get some new gearlinkages, im thinking constella got some 4 x 108 to 4 x 100 so the wheels i intend to buy will fit ;) looking at opting out for some better front brakes maybe 406 brembos just to be a flash sod but nothing will compair to the beasty ones you had!, No longer going to use the 106 gti yellow and black leathers as i only want front seats now im after a cage, but deffo want some black and yellow buckets ? Where did you get yours from willsy ? iv got a new 106 gti spoiler that will need some seriouse work to make fit again!, and im also looking at differnt roof options as im not a big fan of the whale skin rubber thats standard lol! other than that i hope it actualy works out for me! is there anything you think i should do ?

Took me a good 10 mins to get the flake of metal out myself then another 40 mins before it was looked at / cleaned by the hospital Doesn't look to cleaver today! and the antibiotic cream makes things worse, Start to taste it after a bit!,

Did you have the orange die put in your eye ? i found i was coughing this up and blowing it out my nose all night! got one yellow nostril lol! tastes horrible

Bloody ell rust doesn't take long to set in once it starts does it. Was no sign of it atall when I originally painted the arches, having said that its probably been 3 years since I owned it and was probably close to another 2 years prior to that when the arches were painted.

Glad it is being fixed though mate and hasn't deterred you from the juicy plans for it

is that touching cos if it is the paints gonna get ruined and isnt there a law about how far a wheel can protrude the arch as above dont want to be dickish lol, i love the wheels :)

The law is:

The top centre point of a wheel can be no more than 30mm out of the arch
The tyre tread MUST be within the arch.
A tyre must NOT make contact with the arch

I'm looking at the gap between the will and floor. And it needs raising yet! Its going to be higher than Prickles was prior to lowering!

W343NNA
4th June 2013, 23:32
Pshhfft the law is ask me the question before slapping a i already know all that downer on my thread its boring ahah hush hush i cant mirraculasly do bodywork overnight! i have it planned and i dont want it "slammed" but im not raising it either its not about being low just because iv got huge dishes its nit a vw afterall plan is the bring the arches out and get a bit more stretch stay tuned :)

Well actualy after looking at it again i think i want it about 2 inch lower plan is to cut more out of the metal arch behind bring the arches out further same woth the sideskirt add a bit that comes out to match and also cut and extend the rear bumpers width going to take my time wanted it done for fcs but had some crazy plans and done some epic photoshops!

plans sound good though, hope you pull it off
