hi guys, i put coilovers into my mates 2010 scirocco tonight its a 2.0 tdi with a dsg gear box. well all went well coilovers went in with ease but when we went for a test run the was a bad vibration knocking from the passenger side front got it back to the house jack up the front and checked for any play in front wheels and nothing and every thing is tight could it be a cv joint ? going to pull the wheels of tomorrow to get a better look. when in the air and in nutrel the wheels is spin and making a clicking noise. if i stop the wheel and move if back and forward the click happens is it a cv joint ?

How loud is the click when you rotate the wheel and does it become louder with the wheel turned left or right lock?
It could be that the drive shafts are at a funny angle now it's lowered and they have interference within the cv joint.

When driving the car does it get louder when turning in a particular direction. If it's an outer CV joint it would behave like that. Could be something caught behind the wheel?

raise the car to its highest setting then drive the car see if the noise goes away
