Can anyone recommend bucket seats which also offer some degree of comfort for longer stints in the saddle? Also anywhere you can try them out? There's the local a1 motorstores round the corner which sells generic cheap seats but I can't imagine they'll be any good..

go to demon tweeks (its a mission its in wales) but they have a load of seats out in the showroom

most good (expensive) seats are well formed and therefor comfy but it depends on your body shape
i could reccomend ones i feel comfy in and you could hate them as your body shape probably isnt the same as me

cheers dude, common sense kinda tells me I really need to go try them for size/feel. Wrexham is only 2-2.5 hours from me, could well be worth a little trip if I wanted any other bits while I'm there. I'll have a gander :)

its worth the trip
nothing worse than a bad fitting seat ruining the driving experience of your car

I regularly drove long distances (about 350+miles with one stop) in my Corbeau Forzas, never been any more uncomfy than standard seats tbh. As someone else said, it depends how the seat fits you though.

I've got magnum buckets too, they are plenty comfy on long journeys, cosy snug fit.

Putting those I've just got against the cobra monacos I had in last time (budget seat I know) it's like moving from a mattress made of plywood to a memory foam one lol

I used evo 8 recaro's, I beleive I'm first to have used them in a saxo, but so comfy, supportive and did as good of a job as sparco buckets (but didn't give you sore parts on your body unlike fixed buckets, in fixed buckets I get terrible pains because of an accident, with the recaros I rarely got that pain) I just welded the runners to omp frames.
