Hey guys.

I own a 1.1i 1999 Saxo

Ok so cut a long story short my exhaust blew and i replaced all three components.

Ever since doing this I have noticed my fuel consumption is TERRIBLE Averaging between 70-100 Miles per half a tank (over 100 if I am extremely lucky)

I drive pretty normally but on occasion I can litterally drive down a road and see my fuel gauge moving constantly.

I drive about 12 miles a day and appear to be filling this thing up FAR TOO MUCH.

There are no leaks apparent and the fuel filter is brand new and the injector has been cleaned.

What can I do to either diagnose or improve this situation?

Regards,
STAN

sounds like a leak, unless you're fuel guage is fucked? Can't see you're car being THAT inefficent! But then again I am just guessing!

all 3 components being downpipe cat and pipe??

if this happened AFTER you changed the system it could be that your lambda sensors are in the wrong way round causing it to overfuel?

Try swapping lambda sensors round ? and make sure there isnt a leak somewhere along the fuel line.
