I'd imagine, you put the cable through one of the gaps in the spring and spin it on like a screw.

And as for Dom being scruffy, my hands are equally bad right now and I've just washed with deb hand wash. The oils and crap in here don't come off after one or two washes. I find doing the dishes for about 20 minutes gets the hands clean. ;)

And the compound we use to fill our joint kits with does NOT come off at all. It stains you black and you have to wait until that layer of skin has shed.

How do you iPhone lot get the chargers into that state though?! My charger (albeit used for charging/syncing the iPod on a fairly regular basis) and it's about three years old - its pretty much mint!
