Just brought some front bilsteins from some one on hear, supposedly there group Ns but the part number is the same as the b6 sports ? Any one shed some light
P30-3060 stamped on them ?
Any size difference between the two

Theyre deffo not GrpNs. Theyre b6s, so full-length stroke (ooer) dampers. Youve been bumped,

Great, just txt him ill see what he says, he's been on hear for ages and has a fair few posts so ill see what he says before naming him, dissapointed to be honest, and considering the price I paid well out of pocket now

This is me your on about so you all know..... i do apolagise as i never actually checked part numbers..... yes i admit i should have checked myself (fail on my behalf) but i considered the previous owner to be a trustworthy friend so your not the only one that has just found this out.... i got these with the car i recently bought and was promised they were a GMC bilsteing grpN kit by the previous owner.
full refund will be issued as should be expected
and a text to a so called friend

you sure you want them.... B6's wont be great; good for a daily i guess not for track really........ least id go is B8's

Lol I only picked them up at half 7 today went to gf's uni and checked part numbers lol so they have been from piggys to gf's car to gf's house

The b6 is the same damping rate as the B8. Its a full length damper though. If you are not planning on running lowering springs below 30mm you should be ok.

Yeh im going down 50mm and ideally wanted grp N dampers.
Took dampers back today no hastle about giving the cash back. 100% recomend very good communication and honest as they come, chers for the springs :)
