What will stick Suede???

Does anybody know what would stick suede down well over a large area? I had a search and couldn't find anything clear. Anybody dealt with suede and is it easy to use/stick??

Alphabond AF178 glue is what you need, suede has very little "give" in it. If your doing large flat surface's it's grand trying to mould it around something is a little harder not impossible but if you've never done it before can be a mess.

ahh rite thanks. A mate wants his headliner in his golf done in seude so would be good exept round the grab handle ect. I'l have to talk him into something easier haha

doing a headliner in suede isn't hard and there is no need to get your mate to do it in something else

By any chance does this suede come on a roll by the metre? If it does it's not suede it's faux suede. Any heat proof or high temp spray glue will do.

By the way real suede comes from cows and you buy it by the hide.

I done my headliner in pool table cloth, like a suede finish and stuck it down with Evo stik just go light so it doesn't seep through

Ye thats the one! Its the fake stuff, thought it was the same sort of thing. Is it easier to fold/ move ect then? And i take it carpet spray glue will do the trick then? Sorry for all the questions, bit of a noob to upholstery :homme:

the faux suede is very easy to bend/fold etc

Jus noticed i used that evo stick for mine. And will go light with it, its easy to get carried away with the glue haha
