Would I be ok to remove the clear coat and just have it matt or would it fall apart ?, the problem is I can't remove it as its bonded on with tiger seal and cant afford to get it professionally done

You need to get some 200 wet and dry mate and sand it down. Use a drop of fairy liquid in the water until you get rid of the edge.

I'm not sure if streamline use a clear coat on top or weather its just the gel coat from the moulding. If I was you I would take it to a body shop and get them to 2k clear coat. Carbon doesn't like the elements when its bare.

I'd say its not a gel coat as its far to thin looks like normal clear coat to me

Yeah sand it out with the 2000 grit then mate take your time and feather it back so there is no step then take it to be clear coated at a body shop. Or at least aerosol clear coat.

you will be able to remoe it even though bonded in just take your time. Send it to us and we can vapour blast it and then re lacquer, probably for around 30.00 including vat and shipping back to you. To arrange if you email me at sales@streamlinecarbon.com

I wouldn't have thought such a premium product would have such issues

To be fair to streamline all the carbon that I have seen with laquer rather than thick gell coat has flaked once chipped

Part and parcel unfortunately ,if it is a product failure this will be warranted (12 months with original purchaser) but lacquer failure due to stonechip damage etc is unavoidable im afraid.
