I bought some lights but they only come with European Schuko plug.

Need an adapter.

I know any EU - UK adapter should do it, but I need to have the right fuse inside and it doesn't say in manual ?

What would you suggest for DJ lights / LED Parcans ? 15W they use it says.

Did try but my warehouse worker brother was busy so I opted for the second best option of the one with 40 years in the electrical trade :homme:

I'm gonna lob the eu plug off and rewire it I think. cause the schuko plug has a flat earth contact if u use an adapter it wouldn't be earthed at all.

Job done thanks Brettles.

I spoke with my mate whos a sparky (couldn't get hold of him earlier) He said lob the plug off and re wire it to a 3 pin, providing its got E, N, and L in the cable, Which it did. So I've rewired all three lights carefully to new 3 pin plugs, and put a 3 amp bad bwoy in there. Job done. They work like a charm. He said I could even use 1 amp (seeing as lights are only 15 w) but the fuse don't fit.

You gotta be so careful with electrics. May seem simple to some, but i thought i'd ask, better to be safe than sorry.

As 240v/15w is 0.06 amps. 3 amp fuse should cover it lol.

I would go for a 30 amp just to be sure it doesn't blow.

Trololol I know nothing about electrics they scare me.

to be fair, a 3 amp fuse is about as small as you're likely to come across generally (like buying fuses at tescos or whatever) so it's a fair shout. :)

That's your best bet. Proper Schuko adapters do keep the earth. But instead of using both earth contact points, they only use one.

And yes, 3amp be ample.
