hi its a 51 reg clio 1.2 16v that my uncle has, hes had it in the garage and had a few sensors changed but it hasnt stopped the judder. it does it when setting off and seems a bit down on power. my last vtr was the same and never found out what was. think he had airflow sensor done, fuel filter, map sensor and crank sensor. im thinking injectors though or could coil pack do this? what do you guys think. cheers

Coil Pack sounds like the primary issue to me.

I had juddering and power issues with my Saxo and it was the coil pack that was the problem, majority of users on here have likely had the same issue with theirs. If the power was not down then I would have said it could have been an engine mount.

3 main problems that cause juddering on the clio 1.2.
Coil pack they are piss poor and no one makes a decent one for them best way is to convert a ford 1.25 zetec coil pack.
Fly wheel sensor or crank position sensor looks like this.

Ans the third is the air inlet temp sensor.
