I really didnt think Obama had a chance, but polls would suggest otherwise. Romney is just a total fud, would rather Obama wins it.

This.

Watched the first debate when i was in America. Romney only won as he went on the offensive, however, could not answer any kind of question as to how he would lower taxes, increase salaries and increase jobs WHILE reducing the countries debt.

Romney is shouting all the right things to get the hicks and America FUCK YEAH fanatics to vote for him but his campaign has been built on FUCK YEAH promises with no substance behind them (IMO).

Im not really an Obama fan either. In fact i couldnt really care less who wins in America but out of the two Obama is far less of a loose cannon and more likley to keep a civil partnership with the UK and the world as a whole. Romney is just another gun totting freetard.

Obama still scored rep points for stopping binladen and facing the recession while Romney is aggressive while not being able to answer some questions. Both are very strong contestants.

Personally i think obama is great delivers very charismatic speeches but thats pretty much it. Hes been president what 6 years now he hasn't achieved alot if anything.

With the financial crises they are in, they need someone like Romney whose a businessman who understands the financials.

Personally i feel obama never really had alot to offer he was voted in through the black and young people. Just to see a first black president and the young people as they wanted a change. He's all talk no trousers.

At the end of the day it doesn't matter who wins they have a very big and well educated team behind them to make decisions.

I choose Obama, purely on the fact that Romney is named after a type of glove.

The same as pretty much every republican :P

well, most politicians to be precise... Look at how the conservatives got into power, all they did was slate labour.
All labour have done recently is slate the tory's.

They don't call it punch and judy politics for nothing!

He's not acheived much because you don't live in America, and therefore don't get to hear / see / live the impact that the politics has had on the country, and it's citizens.

As for the economy, it's easy to blame the people in power, but there's really not a great deal that can be done to instantly resovle the problems, policies take time to work, 6 years isn't much time...

the same with the UK. Conservatives will be blamed for not solving the economic crisis in their term, they'll blame labour for the problems, labour will blame them back... The reality is, in simple terms; it takes a bloody long time to solve world economic problems!

Tbh, Obama will win hands down, BUT..

If he was white, he would win by a bigger margin, lets be honest, racism in America is quite high in many states.

Romney is shouting out false promises.

I do hope Obama wins if I'm honest. But as Dom has said, many states are still relatively racist. And if people can be racist by secretely not voting for him over a white man, I think they will. Sad world really.

Good Luck Obama.

Romney looks sleazy.

That is my input.

I heard that a few years ago Romney lost the chance to be presidential candidate. That was to George Bush.

If he came behind the worlds biggest ever fuck up. How could he lead the worlds biggest economy??

I really hope Obama wins. A black president is good for the world as a whole. Think it shows progress

been watching the debates and the run up fairly closely. Obama hasn't had a great record, whether it's because he's been stuffed by a republican congress or he just hasn't got a grip of leading the US, I'm not sure. One thing is for sure, the american public are dumbasses if they think the economy can be turned around in 4 years after those mad bastards Bush&Cheney ru(i)n(n)ing the US.

Doesn't mean people haven't made the assumption of it being expected...

Obama to get it hopefully. Romney just changes his tact to much. I couldn't vote for someone who switched between democratic, socialist and republican ideological thinking depending on which state he was in. Can't be trusted.

We're just in positive growth after the UK technically been in recession for the past 3 quarters (you need two consecutive quarters of negative growth to have an official 'recession'). Still a loooooong way off pre-2008 GDP levels. That said 1% growth is pretty impressive given the surrounding conditions such as the eurozone.
