motion sensors wont work on alarm and interiour light problem ?

Hi could anyone help please the central interiour light above the gear stick does not work when i open my drivers door however it comes on if i open the passengers does anyone know what this could be or what i ould do to fix it ? thanks also i have a aftermarket alarm and the motion sesnors in the window pillars dont work could this be down to the box what its connected too or broken cables in the pillars etc thanks again ?

The sensors i think are air pressure not motion... And in the door shut is a little switch iirc... Try pushing that in and out maybe stuck, wd40, otherwise try another one of those switches...

okay thanks ill try it however with the sensors how do i resolve that problem or are you not sure ?

There for if the window gets put through, the pressure.difference will change rappidly and set the alarm off...
