would 205 rear shocks fit on a saxo?
only ask as GrpN's (black cap) seem pretty cheap, or is a no go?

They'll probably fit but i'm sure the bolt holes will be different, so you'll either need to replace the tubes in the shocks or sleeve a smaller bolt into your trailing arm/shock mounts.
I got some 306 shocks on my 405, had to take the bolt holes from 12 and 14mm upto 16mm. At the moment they're 'lashed up' but i do intend to purchase some liquid polyurythene to mould in the 16mm tubes.

205 shocks are a LOT longer so i wouldnt expect them to have much travel left on a saxo tbh
