Only really gumtree and local ads. Pistonheads is free for me as I've been registered yearssss.

Always managed to sell my cars through Scumtree. Be prepared for some total knobbers to turn up though.

I don't understand why people are hesitant to pay a fee to sell a car?

Companies like pistonheads, ebay and autotrader have to make money in order to continue operating so therefore they charge....like almost any other company in the world.

I think £20-30 to sell a car is quite reasonable.

If you want it free, use something like gumtree (at your own peril) or a forum like this.
