Speaker are hissing even when the stereo off and the amp off the RCA leads ard the speaker cable are down 1 side and the power cable down the other I've look at the remote cable to see if the amp off when the stereo off and it is as any one got any idea how to stop it

Not easy to make much sense from what you have posted above.
From what I can decrypt it sounds like you have a hissing speaker even when everything appears to be off.
If the speaker is hissing then its getting some kind of signal to it. This could be through the stereo or through the amp or from another source.
First of all i would see if the speaker still hisses with the stereo unplugged. Completely powered down. If its still hissing, repeat with both the amp and stereo powered off. (no power cables connected or all fuses removed.)
If its still hissing then chances are your speaker wires are shorting off something and thats causing the hissing. If it doesnt hiss when you have the stereo/amp off power then the issue lies with them and that one of them is on and sending a signal to the speaker.
The above is assuming i have made correct sense of the initial post.

Ok thanks I try disconnecting the stereo etc see if still hiss

after disconnecting all the wire's etc it was the petrol pump whirling
