went to a phone shop paid £40 for my iphone 4 unlocking and he said 2days its been 2days and still nothing

any help?

Either been mugged off or he hasn't done it right. Mine worked instantly. Either way i'd get down there.

unlocked as in unlocked to all networks or unlocked as in shut down by the carrier locked?

If its unlocked to all networks then you have been robbed by paying £40 in the first place when you can do it yourself in 15mins for nothing....

O2 done mine free not tried another sim in it yet they told me to connect to iTunes and sync to finish it off have you tried that

I phoned my network provider and asked them to unlock it, 24 hours later it worked with a different network sim in to for free...

You've been robbed....
