Car's in for its MOT tomorrow and, as usual, I've left it until the last moment to fix a few little niggles.
Got the airbag light to stop flashing, changed a bulb that went over the weekend.
Can't get the rear washer to work though. The motor is working and have had a poke around at the jet with a pin in case there was much in it but no joy. Can't even see how to get into the back of it to find out if the pipe has come off. Looks like I might have to take the high level brake light off first....pain in the rear end or what?

As above you dont need the rear window wiper setup at all to pass an mot, Airbag light will have to be fixed to pass the mot.

As for checking id start with taking the jet off the car and check to see if theres any water even getting to it, If theres no water coming out then you'll need to check the water jets pump on the water bottle to see if the pipe is even conected, if it is just pop the pipe off and see if theres any water coming out, if there is then theres a break some where along the water line which is a massive pain in the ass the fix in any car as you will have to pull the roof lining out.

Take your 3rd brake light out and there's a hole so you can check if its connected

yep, if you tell the garage that the light is disconnected, it wont fail!

also, i dont think the airbags are an MoT failure yet, just an advisory, it will be a fail in the near future though. Along with engine management lights
