Basically guys im considering getting Bucket seats soon for my 106 GTi, obviously i want it to match as much as i can with the Half black leather/alcantara interior.

I was first after some Sparco Torino 2's:

But now really like the look of the OMP Comfort Lusso Duo (think it matches more) :

What are peoples views on the 2 brands? Im awrare sparco is good quality but expensive but am not too sure on OMP, are they decent products and high quality. They seem to be similarly priced but OMP are harder to find.

very tough decision rush, personally i would have the sparco's but if you want it to match your interior its gotta be the OMP ones mate, both of them are very nice indeed though mate!!!

Them sparco ones are very similiar to my cobra ones, i think mine are dead comfy so id just get the sparco's. The omp style dosent really work for me in reclining mode, youd need to get proper buckets :P

I would get the OMP seats, i reckon they will look the nuts with the rest of your interior!

Decided that im going to get the OMP bucket seats! Before that though i am planning on getting an uprated torsion bar (21mm) and also drop the rear to 50mm, (its 40mm at the mo).
While the garage are sorting that out will also uprate my front and rear bushes, so wont be getting the seats for some time i reckon!

Think the OMP ones would match your interior better but id go for the sparco ones. Look more comfortable.

Out of the 2 I'd got for the Sparco seats, but I'd rather have a set of Cobra Daytonas.

The OMP's are very nice and dont worry about matching the rest of the interior just rip it all out.

Go on you know you want to.

Could go for these...

Clicky (http://www.sportseats4u.com/edenz-reclining-seats-p-484.html)

Similar to the Sparco seats but about £200 cheaper.

EDIT: Just looked at the applications and it's either red/black or blue/black so wouldn't really tie in with the rest of your interior.

They look nice! Bit too bulky though. Another reason im looking at the OMP ones is that each seat weights in at 12kgs!
Thats even better as im on a strict diet with the car but dont want to compromise with comfort.

Updates soon... :P

Cheers Certifiable.

How much do the back seats, door cards, sound proofing, carpets weigh?

Get it all out if your worrying about weight.

Go on....

Lol, i think the OMPs would go with the interior better... but would choose the sparco for comft...

So far ive lost:
spare wheel and carrier
boot insulation and lining
boot plastics
rear matts

Wheels weight nothing as well so not too bad so far!

Thats why ive gone down 50mm at the rear as the back lifted ever so slightly.

hard choice both good seats, I had a set of omp's and they are comfy but not that make but they do look nice, best to try and find a place that has them to try out the comfort, my choice would be the omp's due to past experience

if you are asking about quality, both firms are really good...
omp is a bit cheaper, but thats not a sign of lower quality, actually, think omp is more used in rally then sparco...sparco is a name that stands out a lot..

go for omp!!
