Am I right in thinking I will need 20 mm spacers if I'm wanting to fit alloys that come off a escort to my saxo?

If they are standard manufacturer Ford wheels then the centre bore will be too small so you will need some spacers that have 63.3 on the wheel side. The hub on a Saxo is 65.1 so is too wide for normal 20mm spacers.

You need some 20mm hubcentric Citroen to ford spacers. Try kam racing or eBay.
