 Hi,

I just bought an audiobahn 500 watt rms and a 1600 watt toxic amp. Details below. Now what i want to know is best method for best sound to connect amp and subwoofer? I have a sony 40w x 4 head unit, i have 6x9's and door speakers connected. I think these run into the amp with rca cable that goes into 4 rca plugs into the amp. I have it working and connected already.

What and how should i connect it all up for quality bass? What is bridged and do ohms in the amp and subwoofer matter?

you only really need the 1600w amp as it should run the sub and 6x9 fairly easily, for base i think i have my sub setting on the hu turned up to just passed midway and on the amp the same with the high pass with the low turned down or the otherway cant quite remember

right could do with a bit more info ie what make are your door speakers? have you got these connected to the amp and how have you done this, as rca's only take the signal from head unit to amp.

as for the sub are you using the audiobahn amp for sub? if so you can run it at 2ohm, I'll post the wiring diagram up that shows you how to do this

best thing to do with the 6x9's is either burn them or put them on ebay, as these don't run as they should with sub in boot, and they drag the sound stage into the rear of the car.

Thanks for info.

The Door speakers are round pioneer speakers and pioneer 6x9s in the back. what can i replace the 6x9s with as they produce most of the sound. The side door speakers and 6x9s are connected directly to the head unit. Rca conected from headunit to amp.
