They just got a £50 fine I think!

It isn't law to wear a poppy, it's by choice and I can see the reasons he doesn't want to wear one if his Irish!
The daily mail owe me 5 minutes of my life for making me waste it on reading this utter shit!

At the end of the day i don't think its a big deal, but whats the harm in wearing it? Its a sign of respect its not exactly distracting.

With a muslim community in england no, but in a muslim country you have to wear them. Just like he apparently should 'have' to wear the poppy i don't think anything will come of it.

Cunts like some of you in this thread that will accept other cunts to make a living in this Country & then tell us to stop moaning when they stick 2 fingers up at our own people who gave us what we have today.
These are the same people who want our troops dead & you cunts are to busy being PC.

An example of a club making money from British people but want our troops dead.

Well let's all ignore the Muslims insulting our troops when they come home as they have done in the past.
let's have them burn poppy's in the street & not give 2 hoots.
Let's have football clubs have banners saying it's our troops that have blood on them & refuse to do a 1 minute silence.

In my opinion it's cunts like you who will take it up the "Deaf & Dumb" & then talk shit about freedom of speech etc etc.

If freedom of speech is ok on all levels like you would have us believe then why can't I have my say in this thread that you've entered & that seems to upset you so much ?

To add to what has been said, in short no big deal. If he doesn't feel the need to wear the poppy he shouldn't have to. Like every single one of us he has his own personal opinions and must stand by what he believes in. It shouldn't make an ounce of difference on a football pitch anyway, they're there to play sport.

It's nothing to do with being blunt or BNP.
I just don't think it's right that we allow people in the UK who are not British to tell us to go & fikk our self's & our troops.

If I went to another Country I would respect that Country's views or I would not go to that Country.

Is very easy to understand.Respect the Country your in or leave.

He's obviously against respecting British troops & yet he's happy to take our money.
Don't respect British people then GTFO.

Hes not burning the poppy he just decided he didn't want to wear it. Im sorry but just because you live in a country it doesn't mean that you should worship the ground any troop stands on.

Some people simply do not believe in war full stop and by saying someone should be booted out of the UK for not wearing a poppy is laughable.

Again why shouldn't it be his choice to wear it?

It isn't about respecting British people, I'm fairly sure he does. He just might not be overly fond of the various wars and confrontations the British have been a part of/instigated.

McGuire86

He has the right not to wear one. But IMO, with the position he's in, a role model watched by thousands of kids every week on match of the day etc. I think he should wear one for that reason, to set an example.

I've not seen/heard 1 Welsh,English or Scottish person have a problem with wearing this.
It's only the Rep Ireland & some Muslims.

Understand your premise. . i also think where ever you are in the world you should respect their way of life, culture and heritage. But the fact he didn't exactly rant about why he wasn't wearing it, i think your taking this a bit far. If he was "protesting" like the scumbags cunts last year then fair do's. But like people have said, it's his choice which everyone is entitled to. Only when they preach it should become an issue.
