Will a set of these 14" merc trims (the older metal ones) fit on my 14" steelies?

~Yes. Some one has already done it. Stripped the paint of them and polished them up.

Oh man the guys at work are gonna laugh so much at that picture tomorrow!!!
Almost as bad as the vw golf I was sat behind the other day with Porsche badges on the back and on the end of the number plate !!!

It's just wrong!!!
I'm all for changing parts around from other cars. To make yours unique I had a vauxhall rear wiper arm on my 309 gti ten years ago it looked different and wasn't being done at the time (was just when plastic arms came out) but it didn't have the crest all over it.
Just think having a badge from another manufacturer on any car is just wrong and how any one can think it looks good is beyond me.
