unlocked ecu for my saxo 1.1 forte

hi my name is sarah im new here today i will be posting on newbie forum but thought id post away first

i have a saxo 2000 1.1forte its not running anymore due to my partners dad dismantling barrel and transponder because i had a flashing key symbol well now weve been out brought new barrel and transponder and the coil thing but the key light is flashing still my dad said to try get a ecu thats unlocked will that just plug in and start???as anybody got 1??many thanks

Hello and welcome. There are or used to people people on this forum who could unlock ECUs. If you post in the engine section someone may be able to point you at them :) Though I would warn you asking to buy an item as such is not permitted untill you have made 100 posts or paid to joined the club. This is to stop people getting just coming on this forum to con people. So you can ask for people to point you to people who can unlock your ECU but you cant asked for a replacement ECU as such.
