Door cards issue

Hi,

Please bear with me as I am reasonably new.

I have sourced a set of desire door cards (As I recently changed to 106 gti interior) however the door handle surround is cracked.

Are these easy to replace? Could I just use the ones from my old door cards? Also is the handle attached to the car or door card? (If that makes sense)

think the 106 handle surround is square? and the saxo desire is rounded sort of, the handles are attached to the door they unclip from the door card when removed if this helps?

Thanks yes it does help. Sorry I should have said the current door cards are vtr & will be replaced with saxo desire ones. I'm not using the 106 ones

The surrounds each side unclip,turn the card over gently squeeze the retaining lugs & the unit pops out.
