hi guys ive posted on the newbie bit but theres still no definitive answer.
ive just bought a 2000 reg 1.4 VTR now i cant find any info on this to see if this is correct. it doesnt look like the bodywork has been added after it was bought plus the logbook states saxo vtr 1360cc. the only think i can come up with is someone has put a furio/westcoast engine in a vtr shell?? but why would anyone go to this trouble as its surely easier to change bumpers/interior etc...
any clarification would be great!

What's the interior like? Are the seatbelts multi coloured?

interior is as you would find in a vtr. seatbelts are black

If you put some water in the oil hole in the engine, and wash the oil off the top bit, you can see what the code is in there, type it into google, and it will tell you what has been done to the car and such

Yes there is such thing as a 1.4 vtr. They were sold in Ireland for definite.

Expect a lot of abuse from people with little knowledge.

I wonder why they're called a VTR when its only a 1.4

Because VTR, VTS etc is just a trim level everywhere but here. You can get 1.1 VTS on the continent.
