Guys, I was just changing my belt, started to check to see where noise was coming from, and noticed my crank pulley going side to side! Removed belt, checked it, and I generally could pull the outer ring off! WTF!

Any damage done do you think?

And is it just a case of getting a new one from ebay?

I`d replace it vts crank pulley`s are in 2 sections(rubber insert)best ordering from citroen or get a solid metal 1 from gmcmotorsports(common problem with vts pulleys)

They're on ebay at £30-35 or go to your local motorfactors.

515 K8 is the part number iirc, 138mm dia.

Guys there is no way I can do any damage replacing this is there?

I keep reading around people saying, it has adjusted the timing :S I have not moved the CAMbelt, I have only removed the AUX belt

Hi Alex, Thats what I thought, due to it not being linked to the main belt itself.

Its ok mate, I bought a alloy one, thanks anyway though :)
