how do you run a turbo and a supercharger? surely one has to come first?

Is not hard called compound charging,
Been about for many years,
A few production cars seem to be using it now,
I'm guessing the turbo is quite large and the s/c makes up the low end and helps spool up.

Hmmmm, what's the cost in the long run, batteries, spare parts etc? The xj220 didn't go that far.

Anyone with 900k to spend on a 'super car' really shouldn't be bothered by running costs.
Therefore why would they choose a 4 pot 1.6 engine when they can have a growling V8/V10? :P

Give it a few more years and V10's will no longer exist and V8's will be on their way out. Just like the V12's are now.
Sad day for the petrol head..

There was a racing AX Sport years ago that was compound charged, and produced 420bhp out a 1294cc engine :)

amazing how technology has come on.
they can make 500bhp from a 2.0 and have done for years. Cosworth YB for example. But they dont last long and emissions are crazy. This i assume will be economical (ish) quiet and relatively green.

i will probably get shot down, but i prefer the look of the older jag tbh.
dont really like much modern styling, there are exceptions but mostly, modern supercar design has all gone a bit weird for me.
