Does anyone else bother with these things?

I just got £80 through from topcashback from my hotels in Italy this summer, in amazon vouchers

And I just got another £80 worth of vouchers from 16k of nectar points.

Not life changing or anything, but it's cost me nothing to get it

The girlfriend loves this kind of thing. She made about #140 a couple of months ago just with referrals!

mixed bag - you're being paid to allow others to track your shopping habits. If you're comfortable with that, get on it. :)

I have never checked my points but been using Nectar for over a year. Fuel, food, now ebay... Can get points from so many things it's worth doing as you're getting something for nothing. Never checked out the prizes though, probably only due a key-chain or something :zainy:

I'm not that fussed about Sainsburys knowing I spend a lot of money on San Pelligrino and Butternut Squash'

Got money off my kettle with nectar points.

If you shop at a place regularly it makes sense! Have to fill up at BP at work, so earn points with that!

We have a rewards scheme at work which gives cashback.

The best ones seem to be the mobile phones.

I was taking out an Orange contract anyway and got £150 cashback on the same deal I was going to get so worked out well :)

I thought cashback was just money given out of the till instead of going to a cashpoint so dont understand the gain :s

My mate gets almost £5 every week from the Morrissons points thing. Ad the DHL bloke who delivers to work got a free holiday from his Tesco club card points. No matter what I do or collect it seems to take forever to collect.

I did get 2 £1.50 vouchers from Tesco last week though and a free jet wash from Tesco car insurance for taking out a policy with them.

I'm gonna take a stab and say he fills up the DHL van at tescos and puts the points on his own clubcard. Fair play :D

My dad did this for a long time, he works for WPD, they then started supplying their own fuel.

On the up side though he gets a reward scheme with a tool supplier and and order of £5000 or more and he gets a free gift. We have had 2 free 22 inch LED TV's, 1 Ipod Nano and 1 Digital Camera all free so far.

quidco are shit so far...

I have bought 3 things thru there including a phone which I should of got £70 cashback on... had to raise a claim to get it... Had the phone 2months now and no sign of the cashback...

Not worth the hassle... I just buy all my uel and do all my shopping at tesco, get clubcard points and get discounts in store/online etc...

Can't be arsed with all this online cashback stuff now..

Cashback on a certain percentage of the value of a product you buy...

For instance you may get 5% cashback if you buy a certain item of a certain value from a particular store...

You don't get it handed over to you either, it's a process on the internet or on a store card that eventually gets wired to your bank account...

The new you now knows what this form of cashback is, the old you is definately a derppp as said..

My dad fills up all the work vans with V power diesel and puts the points on his shell card.

Gets some decent free petrol vouches in the post.

I stopped bothering and started shopping at lidls. no cards, no retarded point schemes, better products and service, no bogofs etc. My cards are sitting in a drawer most of the time, except for when I'll buy a bigger item that's not groceries. One of the real deal nice cards is the american express platinum, you get 5% cashback on every transaction.

Just checked my shell card and got fuck all on it after spending hundreds and thousands since i got that card. You all know the price of petrol.

Yeah shell cards are shit I've spent loads on mine too but miles away from getting anything so I've given up using it.
The only thing I bother with is tesco clubcard now as I get a decent bit back from that.

I use Quidco and have done for many years and it's brilliant,
For my last 2 iPhone contracts I've had £140 back each time plus when I've shopped at Halfords or anywhere else that's supported by my credit card.

Just had a check of my account I signed up in 2009 and since then I've had £405 cash back to my account.

lidls / aldis have some great products, their frozen lobsters for a fiver are great and they also have decent beer.

the only thing is they don't have 'everything' you need so if I go to a lidl I'll probably have to end up going to another store anyway which is a bit gash.

I once bought Orange Juice from Lidl's and it tasted like piss, this made me be selective with what I buy from there. Orange Juice is no longer on that list.
