Always makes me laugh when people bolt on a load of stuff onto a car and expect to get whats there worth all together still.

Also the whole, "you're bidding to buy, not to view" is such crap. If you seriously wanted this, with all the modding, if something was was really wrong and not mentioned you wouldn't still buy it would you!

You can't polish a turd but you can roll it in glitter.

asking too much. spend the extra and get it running with a decent engine and you'll get some sort of money back!

Even if it was a top spec rally car with a sorted VTS lump in it selling for £4k, people would still say it's too much lol.

People would rather plough 10k into a car over years to achieve a 'spec' instead of buying it already done far cheaper. For some it's about the build, other's just aren't that good at math :A:

Serious question as im interested. What is "rally spec" as such? Most seems stuff that you would get in a say a track day car :/

Look into the costs involved in getting a shell up to Blue book regs.

You need monies.

There are some bargains to be had when it comes to cheap motorsport, I was on pistonheads not too long ago and you can pick up an average stockhatch car with spares and stuff for like 3grand? Would cost a fair bit more than that to build one yourself.

1.1, 100k, excuse me what, 800 quid. Ooookay good luck with that. Is the co-pilot copiloting on a radio or just sitting on the floor hoping for the best...

Sounds like the ideal starter car. Get you into the lower classes with the spec. Engine conversion would put you into a different class thus meaning you'd need to spend more on uprating the car. Would cost you alot more than that to hire a car for a rally night rally cars hire for around £700.

Have you seen the standard 323 turbo he's selling aswell? Looks clean. Can't say I've ever seen one on the road before.
