Is it possible to remove the heater matrix without removing the dash on a right hand side driving saxo without A/C. The plastic hoses are to long to slide the matrix out of the housing sideways. Is it possible to loosen the housing screws little bit and tilt it sideways little so it can clear the plastic hoses inside the car? Second idea i have is to cut the plastic hoses from the inside of the car and later when refitting the repaired matrix to connect the hoses from the engine bay inside the car? Any idea is it possible or it's a must dash remove job?

How many bolts are holding it in place and where are they located?

Or my second idea is to cut the hoses like shown in the picture below and later reconnect the rubber hoses from the engine bay inside in the car. Will they have that extra 10cm length to cover the loss of the plastic hoses being shortened and will they fit into the sound dumper rubber thing.

The dashboard has to come out to remove/install the heater matrix.

as above -remove the dash. You cannot remove the matrix without removing the dash, and as you fear, the hoses will not be long enough if you cut the inlet/outlet there. They also wont go through the grommet.

Have a look in my Rallycross build in the project section I did this yesterday.

Me and Tim my build partner removed all the dash and header components included qll the pipes we then managed to slide the heater box off through hearer matrix just leaving that inside the car. Getting to the pipes in the bay is a pain.
