Can anybody help please...
My heating no longer works, i turn the dial and nothing happens also the rear window heater is not working (the light doesn't even come on when i press it)
Anybody know what it could be?
I have changed the fuses but it still doesn't work.
My Saxo is an X reg (yr 2000) is this helps...

rear screen is possibly a relay.
no action when the knob is turned (oh er) could be a faulty knob rheostat or a blown heater fan. When you say you've changed the fuses, were they blown when you replaced them?
Do you get hot air when the controls are set to hot and you drive fast enough to get air in the car?

I changed all of the fuses (just to be on the safe side) none were blown.
It all just seemed to stop working all at once.
No hot air coming through at all, or cold.
Thanks for your replies so far

I appreciate that there is no air coming at all because the fan is broken. But if you do (for example) 60mph air will come through - I'm trying to determine if you have hot air full stop, or if the problem is limited to just the fan motor.

if you've changed all the fuses then it sound's like the grey relay in the engine bay since your rear demister aint working as well as i had the same problem but mine was just the 20amp fuse

Just been for a drive on the motorway, driving for about 40 mins, switched everything to hot, no hot air was coming out at first (i was doing about 70) after about 20mins it did feel warmer.
Its a nightmare to drive in, especially now the weather is freezing :-)

Does the car have a temperature gauge or just a light?

To determine if you are getting heat you could try checking the pipes to the heater matrix. if they are both hot, chances are your heater matrix is working as its should. Follow the smaller pipe back from the thermostat housing (front right hand side of the engine where a bigger pipe comes off to join to the radiator) and you'll find the other one so check both. Obviously do this after a good drive for a bit so the car is warm otherwise you wont be able to tell

A friend of mine recently had this! Has your power steering stopped working too? That's if it has power steering! What it was on my mates car is a white Bo behing the panel where your ignition barrel is, he picked one up from our local scrappys and swapped it over, everything works fine now

Hmmm I'm thinking heater matrix too, had it before as well. Try to get it sorted as soon as you can, it's a nightmare in winter to defog and keep warm at the same time. Do put an extra layer on before you start driving.
Do you get no heat at all or just a little when you're in full red?
also the rear window heater is not working (the light doesn't even come on when i press it)
relay (maybe fuse but not sure on this one)
I changed all of the fuses (just to be on the safe side) none were blown.
:edit then: possibly relay
