Hi there is a vibration noise coming from the engine. It does it slightly on idle but if u give it some rev u can here it more it sounds like something is loose. It seems to b more from the drivers side. I've had a look but I can't tell what's causing the noise.

Check the lower engine mount bolts.

I had a similar noise not long after i got my new clutch fitted. Checked under the car to see one bolt wasnt fully tight on the lower mount..

£5 on the driver's side drive-shaft intermediate bearing being loose ;).

(3 bolts holding the bearing to the back of the engine)

It seems like it's coming from the coil pack area. The top of the coil pack is loose.

Yes but I've held it done and reverse it up but makes no difference.

Had a look at the engine mount and the rubber is cracked and looks totally knackered. How much would a a engine mount cost.

Is it the mount that runs from below the ecu to the engine, and if you wobble the engine is there any play?

If it is that mount, I have one from a 106gti for sale that I think fits, but would need someone to confirm it does fit first
